Update - 2025

Here is our long overdue blog update. If you have been wondering, yes, we are still here, but it has been a hell of a year. We came very close to shutting our doors and have not been terribly active on social media outside of responding to customer inquiries. For those of you who have followed our journey for awhile now both personally, and as a hobby supply company, or for those of you that are simply curious what's going on behind the scenes, we'll have a lengthier update for you down below.

For those who just want to know where we our on current delayed orders or what orders will look like moving forward, the next paragraph is for you.

What is our current status on orders and fulfillment? We are finally catching up on orders and should have all but a few unique cases shipped within the next week or so. The last two months are the first time we have seen major net gains since February without any catastrophic surprises. Since we are now running our holiday sale (as of this post), if you have an outstanding order that has not yet been fulfilled, please let us know and we'll make sure to get some extra items added so that you can benefit from the sale.

Early this spring we decided to not renew a contract that was too draining on us and refocus Shadow's Edge. This transition would take until close to the end of the year to finish and while it would not have been easy as planned, it would allow us a greater deal of freedom and options, both personally and for Shadow's Edge.

A well thought out plan. It was a good plan. Right up until our transmission blew in our car and was not covered under warranty.

Everything came to a grinding halt, but that was just the start. To spare the gruesome details, our spring, summer, and beginning of fall can be wrapping into a journal of events that would sound an awful lot like a Lemony Snicket's book title. We had our breaks go out in a borrowed car while driving home one day, we were hit by a deer in a rental, and then our planned replacement vehicle had some surprise major mechanical issues. There was plenty more issues between that, but those were the "highlights".

However, as of the beginning of October we finally have a reliable vehicle and have not had any major catastrophes or surprises. As such, we're finally making headway on orders. We have a lot of new and returning products planned ahead. Many have been in the pipeline for sometime, but got delayed with the insanity of the year and needing to focus on the orders we had. We don't want to give away too much, but you will see single color flower packs return due to popular demand as well as themed tuft basing packs and basing bundles.

It is also our hope to return to attending shows in 2026, so hopefully we'll see some of you out in the wilds!
